Leading Foot Technology — Case Study

Leading Foot Technology (LFT) uses advanced technology to facilitate the design and production of bespoke orthopedic insoles, bringing together hardware, software, and manufacturing expertise to support podiatrists, orthopedists, and other foot care specialists.

Object worked with LFT to develop an intuitive software solution that simplifies the creation of custom insoles, supporting mass customization while keeping a high level of personalization.

• The Challenge

  LFT's mission required a smooth workflow for medical professionals without advanced 3D modeling skills. LFT also merged technologies from several companies, requiring integration of various functionalities into a single, user-friendly tool.

• Our Contribution

  We created a Rhino-based plug-in that hides Rhino's interface, providing a simplified environment designed specifically for foot specialists to design insoles without advanced CAD skills.

• The Outcome

  Specialists can focus on their expertise – treating patients – while relying on LFT for efficient production of insoles tailored to each patient's needs.
