Phenome — Digitalisation for Manufacturing Companies, Starting with a 3D Configurator
Phenome is a system for mapping, designing, building, verifying and monitoring the IT systems of a manufacturing company, sold by Object as a service. Object's consultants choose platform modules for the gaps that cost the company most, and the systems it already runs keep their roles. The first service on offer is a 3D product configurator. The consulting method is in development and has not yet been measured on an engagement.
Company Map
Interviews held area by area produce a map of the company: processes as an OPM model, the business model, the organisation, machines and the vehicle fleet, systems, products, suppliers, customers, obligations, risks and data. The map stays in the company's own repository.
Modules Behind Contracts
Each module fills a role with a published contract. The ERP, CRM, MES or WMS a company runs keeps its role behind an adapter, and a missing system of any make is added through the same contract. Phenome is not an ERP and does not replace one.
3D Configurator First
A demonstrator imports a frozen configuration into Odoo 19 as a confirmed sales order with six production files. The geometry kernel under it has 571 automated tests and MIT-licensed code; the customer-facing configurator UI is in development.
